Curried Soya Chunks


Our Curried Soya Chunks were prepared with our Pride of India Chilli Powder, Coriander & Cumin Mix and Homestyle Soya Chunks.


Ideal for a meat-free, plant-based or vegan diet.


Serves 4.











1.5 cups Homestyle Soya Chunks

2 tsp Pride of India Chilli Powder

2 tsp Pride of India Coriander & Cumin Mix

1 potato, cleaned & cut into pieces

3 tbsp oil

1 onion, finely sliced

1 tomato, grated/blended

fresh coriander, for garnishing





Soak Homestyle Soya Chunks in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain & set aside.


Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion until golden brown.


Add Pride of India Chilli Powder, Pride of India Coriander & Cumin Mix and fry for approximately 1 minute.  Add a little water, if necessary.


Add tomato and cook until soft. 


Add potato and cook for 10 minutes. Add a little water, if necessary.


Add Homestyle Soya Chunks, little water, salt to taste and cook for approximately 15 minutes.


Reduce the water until you have achieved your desired consistency and the potato is fully cooked. 


Garnish with fresh coriander. 


Serve with rice and enjoy. 



Substitute meat, chicken or seafood with our Homestyle Soya for your breyanis, curries, cottage pies, stir fries, lasagne, pastas, etc.
