Roast Leg of Lamb


Our succulent & tender leg of lamb was prepared and slow roasted with our Pride of India Spices & Herbs:  

Paprika Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Onion Powder, Peri-Peri-Powder, Sea Salt, Rosemary, Ginger Powder, Garlic Powder, Clove Powder & Lemon Pepper Seasoning


Serves 6.











1 leg of lamb, bone-in

½ cup olive oil

3 tbsp honey

juice of ½ fresh lemon

1.5 tsp Pride of India Paprika Powder

½ tsp Pride of India Peri-Peri-Powder

¾ tsp Pride of India Cinnamon Powder

2 tsp Pride of India Onion Powder

¾ tsp Pride of India Ginger Powder

½ tsp Pride of India Garlic Powder

¼ tsp Pride of India Clove Powder

½ tsp Pride of India Lemon Pepper Seasoning

1.5 tbsp Pride of India Rosemary

Pride of India Sea Salt, to taste




Rinse leg of lamb and pat dry.

Combine Pride of India Spices & Herbs and wet ingredients (oil, honey & lemon).  Mix well and set aside.

Apply ¾ of the marinade to the leg of lamb.  Set aside and allow to marinate for 3-4 hours.

Slow roast the marinated leg of lamb on a rotisserie (if rotisserie is not available, you can pot roast or grill in oven on low heat).

Use the balance of the marinade to baste the leg of lamb whilst roasting.

Takes up to 4 hours; on low heat.

Serve with your choice of vegetables and gravy/sauce.
