Spicy Chicken Burrito

We prepared our burrito filling with our Pride of India Chicken Masala, Pride of India Garum Masala and Homestyle Chick Peas.
Wholesome goodness in a toasted tortilla wrap.
Serves 4.









4 tbsp oil

1 onion, finely sliced

4 tsp Pride of India Chicken Masala

1 tsp Pride of India Garum Masala

100g Homestyle Chick Peas, boiled

1 tsp ginger & garlic paste

4 medium chicken breasts, cut into strips

salad ingredients (such as carrots, lettuce, cucumber and tomato)






Soak Homestyle Chick Peas overnight or for a few hours.  Add water to cover and boil until tender. 


Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion until golden brown.


Add Pride of India Chicken Masala, Pride of India Garum Masala and ginger & garlic paste. Mix and fry for approximately 1 minute.  Add a little water, if necessary.


Add the chicken and cook for approximately 5 minutes. 


Add the boiled Homestyle Chick Peas, a little water and season with salt.


Cook for another 10 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.


Burrito filling is ready when the water has reduced and you have achieved your desired consistency. 


Lightly toast your tortilla wraps for about 10-15 seconds. 


Add your chicken and chick pea filling, accompanied by your choice of salads such as carrots, lettuce, cucumber and tomato.
