Chicken Tacos


Not only are tacos healthy, but you can prepare a range of delicious fillings.


Our Chicken Tacos were prepared with our Pride of India Medium Curry Powder.


Serves 4.

















3 tbsp oil

1 onion, finely sliced

3 tsp Pride of India Medium Curry Powder

1 tsp ginger & garlic paste

4 medium chicken breasts, cut into strips

spring onions, finely chopped for garnishing

cucumber, sliced into strips for garnishing





Heat oil in a pot.  Sauté onion until golden brown.


Add Pride of India Medium Curry Powder and ginger & garlic paste. Mix and fry for approximately 1 minute.  Add a little water, if necessary.


Add chicken and cook for approximately 5 minutes.


Season with salt. Add a little water. Let the chicken cook until tender. Reduce the water until you have achieved your desired consistency. 


Lightly toast your tortillas for about 10-15 seconds. 


Add your chicken filling and garnish with spring onions & cucumber.  


Enjoy with sides of veggie sticks, fruit sticks, guacamole, salsa, dips or side salads.
