Lemon Pepper Chicken


We prepared quick & easy succulent Lemon Pepper Chicken using our Pride of India Lemon Pepper Seasoning, Pride of India Mixed Herbs and Pride of India Sea Salt.

Serves 4.












4 chicken breasts, halved

4 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp plain flour

1 lemon, sliced

4 tsp Pride of India Lemon Pepper Seasoning

2 tbsp Pride of India Mixed Herbs

Pride of India Sea Salt

1 cup chicken stock

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp honey

spring onions, sliced for garnishing




Rinse and pat dry the chicken.


Toss chicken in flour, coat with Pride of India Lemon Pepper Seasoning, Pride of India Mixed Herbs and season with Pride of India Sea Salt.  Set aside.


Heat olive oil in a grill pan.


Add chicken to pan and grill for approximately 5 minutes until golden brown on both sides.  Remove and set aside.


Using the same grill pan; add chicken stock, butter and honey.  Mix well and cook sauce for 2 minutes.


Add chicken and baste with the sauce until the chicken is fully cooked.


Remove grill pan from heat once the sauce has slightly reduced.


Plate chicken, spoon sauce over and garnish with spring onions. Serve with sliced lemon.


Enjoy with brown / basmati / jasmine or cauliflower rice, mashed / baked / roasted or pan-fried potatoes, steamed / roasted vegetables and/or side salads.
