We prepared our Spicy Tuna with our Pride of India Fish Masala, Pride of India Coriander (Dhania) Powder & Pride of India Cumin (Jeera) Powder. Healthy and full-flavoured goodness served on crispy rice cakes.

Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice Cakes

Ingredients

  • 170g canned tuna, drained (or fresh tuna)
  • 1 tsp Pride of India Fish Masala
  • ½ tsp Pride of India Coriander (Dhania) Powder
  • ½ tsp Pride of India Cumin (Jeera) Powder
  • ½ tsp ginger & garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 1 tomato, grated/blended
  • spring onions, for garnishing
  • 2 rice cakes
  • salt
  • water

Method

  • Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion until golden brown.
  • Add Pride of India Fish Masala, Pride of India Coriander (Dhania) Powder, Pride of India Cumin (Jeera) Powder, ginger & garlic paste and fry for approximately 1 minute. Add a little water, if necessary.
  • Add tomato and cook until soft.
  • Add tuna and cook for about 10 minutes. Season with salt, if necessary.
  • Cook until the water has reduced and you achieved your desired consistency.
  • Serve on crispy rice cakes.
  • Garnish with spring onions.
