Our Chilli Chicken Pasta was prepared with our Pride of India Ginger & Garlic Masala, Crushed Chilli, Rosemary, Mint, Thyme and Sea Salt. This is a quick, easy & comforting dish; with spicy aromas and flavours.

Chilli Chicken Pasta

Notes:

Substitute chicken with other types of meat, seafood or soya. Try our HomeStyle Soya Chunks and Soya Mince for a plant-based, meat-free or vegan diet. Add extra Pride of India Crushed Chilli if more heat is desired. Substitute vegetables in recipe with vegetables of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 5 medium chicken fillets, cut into strips
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cleaned and cubed
  • 1 red bell pepper, cleaned and cubed
  • 1 green bell pepper, cleaned and cubed
  • ¾ cup peas
  • ¾ cup sweetcorn
  • 4 tsp Pride of India Ginger & Garlic Masala
  • 1 tsp Pride of India Crushed Chilli
  • 2 tsp Pride of India Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Pride of India Mint
  • 1 tsp Pride of India Thyme
  • Pride of India Sea Salt, to taste
  • 250g macaroni
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • spring onion, for garnishing
  • water

Method

  • Boil macaroni in water with Pride of India Sea Salt, to taste. Cook until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pot. Add onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add Pride of India Ginger & Garlic Masala and fry for approximately 30 seconds. Add a little water, if necessary.
  • Add the vegetables (peppers, peas and sweetcorn) and cook for approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Add the chicken fillets and Pride of India Sea Salt, to taste.
  • Add Pride of India Crushed Chilli, Rosemary, Mint and Thyme.
  • Add plain flour, mixed in half a cup of warm water.
  • Cook until the vegetables are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
  • Add boiled pasta. Mix well.
  • Cook until the water has reduced and you achieved your desired consistency.
  • Garnish with spring onions.
